The service will last about one hour.
During our time of worship, we will sing several songs, offer prayers, and hear Scripture read — all celebrating Easter and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The sermon will explain Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and ask what this historical event means for our lives today.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

What about my kids?

On Sunday mornings, our Kid’s Ministry will seek to provide fun, faith-nurturing activities for each child. Classes for kids from birth-5th grade run simultaneously with the sermon each Sunday morning.

Safety and Security

All of our Children’s Ministry Workers have a recent clear criminal background check on file with us.
We use a digital check in system with adhesive name tags that we stick directly to each child’s clothing that matches a code printed on a card given to the parent or guardian who dropped off the child.
We also have a two worker policy – meaning your kids are never left alone.

How long are your services?

Our services are just over an hour.

Is parking difficult?

There is plenty of street parking (always free on Sundays).
The Eastern Market Metro station is just five minutes away.

What kind of church is Pillar?

Pillar is a Christian church made up of individuals from various denominational and religious backgrounds. Our church launched September 2019.
Pillar is a part of a small family of churches situated near military installations around the world called the Praetorian Project.
We are also a part of the Southern Baptist Convention of Virginia.
