What to Expect

Christmas Candlelight Service

6 p.m.

The service will last about one hour.
During our time of worship, we will sing several songs, offer prayers, and hear Scripture read — all celebrating Christmas and the coming of Jesus Christ.
The sermon will tell the Christmas story about Jesus’ birth and ask what this historical event means for our lives today.

Our services are just over an hour.

Is parking difficult?

There is plenty of street parking (always free on Sundays).
The Eastern Market Metro station is just five minutes away.

What kind of church is Pillar?

Pillar is a Christian church made up of individuals from various denominational and religious backgrounds. Our church launched September 2019.
Pillar is a part of a small family of churches situated near military installations around the world called the Praetorian Project.
We are also a part of the Southern Baptist Convention of Virginia.
