Foster Care & Adoption Support

We have partnered with DC127 to help meet the urgent foster and adoption care crisis in the District of Columbia. Through our partnership, we are helping to raise up and equip families to foster and adopt while also supporting current foster and adoptive families.

Goals

The goals of the Foster Care & Adoption Ministry are three-fold:

  1. To raise up families from within Pillar DC who will say “yes” to adoption or foster care or, if they are not led to do that, will say “yes” to volunteering as part of a support team to help foster and adoptive families.
  2. To come alongside DC127 in their Foster FAM program which is designed to build a support team around current foster and adoptive families so that they can make it for the long haul.
  3. To financially support Pillar DC families who wish to adopt through our Adoption Fund Grant.
